Our son has been attending Creative Child in Davie for over a year, and we could not be happier with this school! We were referred by a friend, and my husband and I are absolutely thrilled with how much our son has grown and developed since he started. The staff and the teachers are absolutely fantastic, professional and nurturing. We could not have been happier with CCLC Davie. From the teachers to the staff everyone is very courteous and caring with our little boy, who would greet and hug everyone on the way in and out. Unfortunately we had to move away from Florida for work, but would have happily continue my 2 year old's education and my 3 month old all the way through elementary at CCLC.
So here we are 3 years later (from my first review) and I have to say that Creative Child just kept getting better for us. Now my daughter is in VPK with the famous, Miss Mary as her teacher. She loves going to school, she loves learning...she is reading and doing poetry lessons. They have recently added weekly spanish and art classes to the curriculum and having conversations about Jackson Pollock with a 4 year old is pretty amazing! 4 stars because of 2 things explained below. Overall we love it here!! Our 15 month old has been just going here for less than two months and smiles at drop off and pickup time. She has made friends and the teachers Mrs. Tab, Angie and Delyte really care for all the toddlers with all their heart. It took a little getting used to but they have the toddlers on a great schedule and for $15 more you can get video access, which is worth it in my opinion. Especially with toddlers. I was nervous about having my daughter move from one county to another but I soon discovered that CCLC is the right environment for my daughter. Their transition to the school was so warm and welcoming, it's been 4 months since my daughter became a part of this school and I am absolutely in love with the love and attention they have provided to a young child. Ms. Erika a. D Ms. Danielle are the most sweetest gems in that school.
We have had kids here for years and this place is absolutely fantastic. The sttaff, heirarchy and facilities are truly wonderful. There was a time I was between jobs and they worked with us financially. Who does that? I didnt know anyone did. Our kids love the place, it's always clean, built like a fortress. Currently our 4 year old attends 3 days a week but asks to go on her off days too. All of our interaction with everyone at every level has really been stellar. Honestly I was shocked to read some of the other reviews because they are so far removed from the experiences I've had here. This school is more than just a school. My daughter wakes up everyday excited to go here and genuinely loves it. We have ms. Wendy and ms. Jessica, and I can't say enough great things about them and their class. They have such a great supportive environment I always feel great about leaving my daughter in their care. A daycare center is, to a working parent, simply another parent. It's entirely possible that the center will spend more waking time with your child than you will yourself for the most formative years in his or her development both as a student and, more importantly, a person. That was certainly the case for my wife and I when, years ago, we began our search for the perfect "third parent." My granddaughter attended after school and summer camp for 3 years. She absolutely loved it! I have seen many day care centers and you will not find one cleaner or with better employees. The kids are happy and having a great time with the activities they have. I don't know what happened to Natasha in a previous comment but I have never experienced or heard of anything like that. I highly recommend CCLC to anyone that wants excellent care for their child.
