It’s sad when someone’s passion for animals gets lost and their greed takes over. This place use to be great but they stopped caring about the pets they see. They’ll point the blame back at people who leave bad reviews because they won’t take accountability for their inadequacies. Anyone looking for a vet, there are so many better options in the Joliet area. This place is not the one.
This clinic is on the advisory board of NVA, which pledged last year to stop declawing cats in at least half their clinics nationwide. Dr. Saubert still declaws cats according to employees who work there, and may have influenced NVA's decision to fail to keep their word. Declawing is never medically indicated for a healthy, uninjured cat, and in fact causes harm by altering the cat's biomechanical function and forcing them to adapt to an unnatural distribution of body weight on the paws. Hi, we reached out to you on Dec. 20, 2022 in an email and on Instagram but never heard back and you blocked us on Instagram. Dr Brandy Saubert, you are on the Medical Advisory Board of NVA and NVA came out with a new declawing policy that says declawing can only be done if the vet determines it will benefit the cat. NVA told us that they told all of their clinics that they don't support declawing and that it shouldn't be performed. they made my elderly cat feel Worse! what was supposed to be a checkup only the nurse decided (without my permission) to "trim" my cat nails and clipped damn near her entire finger off! and when asked they told me they will "fix it for no charge" 🙄 livid is an UNDERSTATEMENT!
Lady who answered the phone at 7 am on November 2nd was extremely rude and pretty much said they couldn’t help my dog. No recommendations or anything from her, just a simple “we have a doctor out and can’t help”

This used to be great but has went downhill like crazy. We have a dog that is seriously injured and can’t even walk. And they don’t care AT ALL. “Oh. We are all booked up. Sorry. Used to love this place. But right now? Honestly can’t recommend them. This place has been great to us and our pets for years but right now I don’t know. Dogs nails have connection to their spine so when a dogs nails get very long it can cause them massive pain and spinal issues. But yet apparently this hospital no longer cares about this.
