I called them today asking for an appointment to do a crown. Which they referred me to endodontis for evaluation I have heard that I called before and told them I do not want to visit them anymore. Not great customer service in my opinion. It is very hard to make an appointment as well. Long wait times.

New to the area thought I would stay with a local business so I did not have to travel to get my teeth maintenance. First visit, I complained my teeth were hurting recommendation was "deep cleaning" paid done...still have pain, well now it's XXX tooth (root canal) paid done...still have pain. I never write reviews but I am compelled to this time. I have been going to Cromwell Dental for over 5 years. Over the course of 5 years I have missed 3 appointments. One was my fault because i simply forgot. That was about a year and a half ago. The next appointment was missed because I received a text message from the office asking if I can make the appointment and I texted back no. Apparently, they did not receive it. Have used Cromwell dental for 2 years, never had an issue with the dental staff but have had numerous issues with the billing department. First was over billed $500, was never informed, happened to notice a negative balance on my account months later and then had to hound them to issue me a refund. Secondly my husband showed up for his scheduled cleaning a few weeks back and was informed they didn't have his appointment on file and that we had an outstanding balance. First, let me say this Dental organization came highly recommended. I went to have my front tooth fixed and they did an excellent job. Pricey, but very good. As a result I decided to switch dentists. I had a 'first time customer' visit. I do not have insurance. That's okay. When I'm prepared to pay a bill and told up front what something will cost it's not an issue. I had made an appointment but came down with a terrible flu the day of. Felt terrible about not giving proper notice to cancel but I called anyway to say I wouldn't be able to make it. They refused to reschedule my appointment because I'm a "first time customer and they reserved the time especially for me" and I had to give them two business days of notice to cancel. I've debated whether or not to write a review because the staff and the doctor are very nice people, and for general dentistry, I think the practice great. However, this review is for cosmetic dentistry. If you do not want to read the long review below, here is a summary: do not come here for cosmetic dentistry.
