RecommendedEverything except all prescription purchases. Some are cheaper online. We buy what we need immediately at dah and order the rest online. This is true of any animal hospital or pharmacy. Vets and other staff are open about this and never try to convince us to buy from there. People say vet care is pricey here but in the long run, it's all the same except dah vets give the best care and show personal concern. Been to other places. Not worth it. Love Danvers Animal Hospital.
I do not recommend Danvers Animal Hospital and will be finding another vet for Aria's suture removal. I spent 795 dollars to get Aria spayed, her back dewclaws removed and get her microchipped. When I picked Aria up from the procedure she did not have a cone on and the receptionist held the cone in her hand. She said that Aria really needed the cone on because she was trying to go after her incisions and I asked if she could put it on for me because I didn't know how to do it well. We only went there twice. While it was a while ago it's still very upsetting. We were treated awful. The first time, my dog fell through ice and was stuck for over and hour, he got rushed there and before they even would look at my dog they asked how we would be paying. The next time we went was to put the same dog down to end his suffering since our small vets office couldn't do it for a few more days.
