I had already two surgeries with Dr. Antell . Since my first surgery went well, I had complete trust in him second time around. He is not just an expert in his field, but also a wonderful person. Someone you want to have for a friend. I would not go to anyone else after being so lucky to find him through the recommendation. He and his stuff are very professional, yet friendly and warm. I suffered from cystic acne as a teen, and was left with scars that have bothered me for my entire adulthood. I am a doctor, now in residency to be a dermatologist. I treat skin every day. I had a very large hole in my forehead from the removal of a skin cancer and Dr. Antell made me look as good as new. Not only did he do a great job closing the hole but his bedside manner was wonderful and everyone in his office was a pleasure to deal with. I HIGHLY recommend him and his entire office.

If you are a neurotic like me, you may be hesitating because a) you have visions of expiring on the operating table or b) you think you will look like a combination of Michael Jackson and Joan Rivers afterwards. Fellow neurotics, you can relax! Dr. A. has never lost a patient (of course, I asked!) and when he's done with your face lift, neck lift, etc., you will look like you got back around 15 years or more (depending on your physical state beforehand) to do all over again. I went to Dr. Antell and he transformed my face and MY LIFE. Not only does my face look amazing (20 years younger) but immediately after my surgery, walked into a restaurant in the Village and met my soon-to-be husband. Am now moving to SoHo and beginning a life that I could never have dreamed of.

This is the only plastic surgery I've ever had (or plan to have), and my side profile has been something that has made me self-conscious. My fears were mainly 1) whether it would be noticeable 2) how soon I could return to work 3) what size implant I should get. The answers are 1) not at all 2) You can return after 2 days, but since your mouth/lower lip is still a bit numb, I'd recommend waiting 3-4 days. Dr. Antell removed my very large lipoma on July 24, 2013. From the consultation to the post-surgical follow-up, Dr. Antell was the consummate, knowledgeable professional. Hi there. Ok, so I have posted so many things here lately as my anxiety mounts and its easier to talk here than to my family/friends/fiance. I had a rhinoplasty 4 days ago (July 31, 2013).
