Dr. Antell wasn't recommended to me by anyone so wanted to consult with 2 different surgeons. Dr. Antell was recommended by a professional who's client had a mini lift with great yet subtle results. As I researched Dr. Antell, I saw that not only did he have the experience and credentials I was looking for, but also used the word "whisper surgery" to describe the results. I knew he was for me. Consultation review: strung along and lied to for months Giving one star for extremely poor and misleading communication during consult process. Wasted my time for months, then refused to treat me and would not provide referrals to someone who would, wasting several weeks more by stringing me along. Wide scars scalp after mini lift & doctor said jowls were more apparent I went to Dr. Antell for a mini facelift over a decade ago. He told me then when to return for a second one. I followed his directions. He performed the second one and admitted afterward that it was the first time he had to admit that a patient looked worse after than before. I cannot say this firmly and loud enough: Do notget a rhinoplasty from this doctor. After I got my first rhinoplasty my aunt told me "it looks like you ran into a wall." She was right. Dr.Antell didn't listen to anything I said. I told him "I'm fine if you keep a bit of the bump, I just want it to be thinner from the front." What did I get? I went to Dr. Antell for a rhinoplasty when I was probably too young to have done so. I do feel that the nose I was born with could have used some subtle refinements, but I believe the result I received from Dr. Antell was extreme: a 1980's-style bunny slope nose with an upturned, pinched that makes me feel, well, not my best. I had lower eyelid surgery with Dr Antell. Too much fat was taken out and it left me with loose skin and wrinkles that I didn't have before. The procedure I did was trans conjunctival bleph with skin pinch. dr Antell assured me that he would perform another skin pinch if needed. when I mentioned my concerns about the loose skin about a mth and a half post op. his reply was that all he did was take fat out.
