I had always wanted to try a bonafide hot chicken joint. Being in Los Angeles, which is known for having a multitude of hot chicken restaurant options, I was excited to try Dave's Hot Chicken at its location in Glendale. I got back from Nashville recently and have been on a fried chicken kick and desperately needed to try Dave's. Went in today and ordered the sliders- one lite mild with cheese and one medium. I loved them both. The bun is soft and fresh, the slaw and pickles add a great crunch and they both tone down the spice for sure. I was happy with my cheese on my not-so-spicy slider and no cheese on the medium. I have a so/so spice tolerance and the medium was perfect. A.hole in the wall? Yess. Tough to find parking, yes. Worth the effort? 100% YES. DAVE'S IS TGE BEST!!!! My Sons and I have tried them all. We will ONLY go to Dave's. The staff js super friendly every time, Manager is awesome. Food is 100% good, even the sides. Only wish fries were crispier. Less soggy. Others are just imitators. A little pricey to feed myself PLUS 3 teenagers and a 5 year old but, again, 100% WORTH THE INVESTMENT.

This place kicks flavors into high gear! Their chicken is so delicious and there's different spice levels you can get it at. The sandwich was delicious and so was the tender. They have their special sauce in packets now pretty cool.

Loved it. I haven't had Dave's in a few years. I was a fan back when they started in a parking lot. Glad to see them doing so good. Inside was simple they only had a few tables for inside seating but they also have a small patio in the front. I got the #3 combo (slider + tender). Delicious! As someone that likes spicy, the hot level was just right. Might have to take it up a notch next time. Just the right amount of slaw on the slider. The tender comes on a slice of bread.
