It was alright. I ordered hot and it had no spice at all. Takis are spicier, maybe I have to order extra hot. They messed up my order but fixed it right away. Dave's sauce tastes a lot like Mayo nothing special. For sure overhyped on my end, did not meet my expectations.
This review is long overdue. Came here for NYE, and all I can say is STEPHANIE is great. She is the reason I'm giving Dave's 5 stars, she was very charismatic, thoughtful, and communicative. My family and I really appreciated the service we got this night, and ended up coming back last week in hopes of seeing her. Also the food never disappoints great food and great service!!
Reaper? More like... Not Spicy :) We ordered the number 2 platter, both mild even tho one of them was technically the REAPER, and when it was all gone we vanished. 100 years later my buddy and I discovered a new avatar, an Airbender named Aang *pff* and with his help I knew we could save the world! Went to the Glendale location of Dave's Hot Chicken for the first time for take-out and it was a good experience. It was a Thursday night and we figured it wasnt going to be as busy as some nights we've driven by. There is a shared parking lot in the back and some street parking out front. This chicken was mediocre and for the price, not good. 2 small tenders and fries for $13. I'm not sure how the chicken was hot but kind of soggy at the same time. If you're really craving Nashville chicken it'll do, but there are so many other options in the area. Fries were definitely better than the chicken. Employees are friendly! Probably won't be back though.

Love this place! The chicken is always crispy yet juicy just the way I like it. Service is fast and that's always a plus!
idc what anyone says, this is the best hot chicken i've had in Los Angeles. Medium is my favorite level. my buddy did the reaper and was in a lot of pain . i come here at least once a month. tip: get extra sauce and honey.
