Guys, this is the spot. I knew nothing about Dave's when it opened, except that it was a little out of the way and I don't often eat fried chicken. All that being said, tell me something's spicy and it's in my stomach before you finish your sentence. This place has absolutely nailed the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. I was first introduced to Dave's by some friends of mine in Los Angeles; when I found out that Dave's had expanded into Canada I was so happy. You can choose your level of 'hot' and the seasonings are so tasty There's three locations in Toronto and all are open late which is a bonus. Just learned about Dave's Hot Chicken (and their connection to Drake) yesterday and was super excited to try them, especially with the Reaper sauce as Carolina Reaper is my favourite hot pepper. I love how their disclaimer says it can cause "emotional distress, or even death." Lol It arrived super quickly through Doordash...my first impression was that I liked the packaging (love the logo) and nice to see the checkmark next to "Reaper." Second time in this location. Truly enjoy their fried chicken however, my rating this time did change a little due to their milkshake and me being a little more critical than i was last time. Wait time and service: 5/5 I came early on a Friday morning when it opened so it was really quick as we were the only people there. Food took around 5 minutes. I think social media drew me here last Monday as I was on my way home to grab lunch along Queen to Roncensvaille, due to construction I was forced to detour and found this Chicken place with its mouth wide open acting all surprised. Had to stop in to give this place a shot as I don't usually have fried chicken. I have to say the place is a simple American fast food joint.
