Ordered food for pick up on Easter! I ordered through Yelp and it was extremely easy to do. The food was ready at the promised time. The cashier Brenda, was really nice and offered great customer service. I was greeted as I walked through the door. I've been here twice now and both times have received great service!

One of the best chicken places ever! But the powder was a little flakey and got on ur fingers id recommend the light mild chicken because not that much flaky powder But one thing that is SICK about the place {in a good way} is that for the price of a mc Donald meal u can get WAY more food that is also way more yummy! And also I just got one big meal at lunch and it came with enough food to feed us for lunch and dinner! xD

The chicken is delicious and even better when you squeeze some honey on each bite. The dining area is large. They have different levels of spice for the chicken. The service is always good. But the parking situation is a nightmare.

Interesting place and location-I can see why they are popular in LA Not sure El Cajon has enough vibe to accommodate the place. A little pricey, mostly Door Dash etc folks here.

Compared to the mission Dave's Hot Chicken this one is by far my favorite. They are quick with bringing out your food. They always ask if you'd like extra sauce, which I appreciate as I sometimes forget to order extra. They have a lot of seating inside and outside. Although, parking can be tricky with lots of other surrounding businesses.

I finally tried Dave's Hot Chicken and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The chicken was insanely crispy on the outside and super juicy on the inside. You can actually taste the quality. I ordered the medium heat and it had the perfect kick -- flavorful, not just spicy for no reason. The sliders were stacked and filling, and the fries were seasoned perfectly.
