It's a new week so it's time for some new heat! I had a chance to check out Dave's Hot Chicken yesterday and I can't deny how good it was. I got the sliders (add cheese, mild and hot, with cheese fries with honey drizzled on top) Y'all these sliders are not small... at all They are legit sandwiches (& y'all know I loved that!!! I had dave's for the first time in Cali and it was sooooo amazing. But I recently moved from Dallas so I didn't get the chance to experience in Texas. When I visited friends this past weekend, I knew I had to stop and I am so glad I did. It was so damn good. It really touched my soul can't wait until Im in dallas again to have it again.

The chicken is fresh and tasty. I tried the hot and extra hot and couldn't tell much difference between the spice levels, but they both packed a punch without being insanely hot. My review is mixed because the tables weren't cleaned by staff while I was there and almost all of them had leftover crumbs or napkins on them. Also ketchup was in packets which is annoying (squeeze bottles are much better!), and there was no plastic silverware to use, so my hands got messy.

This is my first review of 2022 and honestly I can't think of a better business for my first review of the year than Dave's Hot Chicken. My wife and I went there for lunch and we both were pleasantly surprised not just for their food but also for their great and friendly service. The menu is very simple: sliders or chicken tenders that go from "no spice" to "reaper", and a few really good and traditional sides like Mac & Cheese, cool slaw and french fries...whatever you choose you are going to like it. I think it's pretty good chicken. But my big complaint is the price is pretty high for a fast food drive thru. It was just under $15 for a combo meal. I also got mine too spicy which I like spicy foods so I powered through it. So be careful when specifying how hot you want it and go one step below what you think.

Me and my boyfriend tried this place for the first time. It's pretty good. It's well seasoned and the tenders are really big. You can tell the food is seasoned but you can't really taste it. I'll eat here again though. Just big ass tenders lol

So the name of the place *is* Dave's Hot Chicken but when I saw the various degrees of heat options, I was a bit relieved. I ordered mild thinking if it's too mild, I could go up to medium next time. The tag on my bag said mild but the mild, at least to me, was medium if not hotter. Tasty but had a runny nose from the heat during the meal and dipped it in ranch I had at home to cool it down. There was a lot of hype around this place. A bit out of the city but wanted to give it a try. The folks there are super nice and it wasn't too busy when we went. Got some tenders and sandwiches and they were all so delicious. Spicy level was a bit more conservative than I was expecting. But still good. Dishes were yummy and compliment the tenders well. Left here stuffed!

We been to this place multiple times and every time we had incredible experience. We have dined in with kids and there was something on menu for everyone in family. Love the service,staff is super nice and welcoming. Food was out in 5 mins of after placing the order. Hot chicken tender and slider was amazing! The taste was incredible and it was fresh out,fries were freshly made with perfect seasoning. Def will come back again.
