The last 2 times we ordered the order was wrong and the food somehow not all that. I would think if all you do is chicken all day you would have perfected it! We've paid for coleslaw on the side twice now and did not receive it, when you mention it to them on the phone the answer is "ok" . Seriously?!?! Also I've stopped bothering to ask for well done fries! Or maybe I'm just done with this place!

Well when we first discovered Dave's we were blown away by their amazing food. This time however we're blown away by the literal disregard of attention to their food. We just picked up an order this Saturday afternoon at the Indio location and literally every sandwich had raw chicken in it and uncooked batter. I wanted to love this place because it's nearby and I like the idea of supporting a smaller business but I won't be going back. I had the Dave's two tender and fry basket plus added on one tender which went uneaten. The service was pretty slow; I noticed many others standing around looking at me with the same feeling I had, "Really? Is the food taking this long?" Plain chicken was large and tasty, mild was not so good with the powder spices. Service was so-so and why the tips/selection on your tab. Tried it once and most likely not again. I'll stick with Canes.

Always wanted to try it so grabbed it on a long road trip. It was just ok for me. Took a while to get me food and I wasn't too impressed.

Visited a few days ago ,never again seems like they reuse the oil or something the chicken is always a different color, the service so bad the man in the front was very rude don't remember he's name but he was short looks like he didnt wanna be there , the fries were good with the sauce. Only good thing . please get better staff or something about that nasty rude guy

I love hot food but this chicken is just hot in a not good way. There is hot and then there is just coarse hot, and this is the latter. I found the chicken very rough and the fries 4th rate. And 4th rate is complimentary. I only ate a few. Sorry dudes, I just don't see it. Maybe it is just me. Oh well.

The manager gave me a coupon for a free meal. The point here is not me wanting a free meal. I want a fair food portion and better service. The staff is rude they need to work to have better people skills. I don't know how the ambiance is in the restaurant because I did not dine in. Thank you for the coupon but that doesn't change my review.
