The food here is definitely tasty -- I ordered the 2-slider meal (lite mild) and was impressed with how flavorful it was without being overly spicy. The mac and cheese was creamy and delicious, a solid side dish that complemented the meal well. That said, the wait in the drive-thru was super long, which was frustrating. I work everywhere around the city of Chicago and the suburbs. Every time I'm in Naperville I stop here because it is just that good. The staff at Dave's Hot Chicken are always super nice. The food is amazing, I always get the Hot spice level and definitely needs the Dave's sauce to help cook it down. The chicken is always perfectly cooked and fresh. The music inside is a little loud but very clean and has a good vibe to it. HIGHLY recommend trying Dave's Hot Chicken by far my favorite stop in Naperville

I wanted something quick so I could get back to the hotel for a meeting. I chose this place because it said they had a drive thru. I couldn't find the drive thru so I went in. I should have walked out when I seen all the people standing around waiting. I placed my order #4 (hot sandwich, fries and a drink). It took me almost 25 min to get my order. Dave's hot chicken has been the talk of the town for quite some time and I knew that I had to go check it out! We went in on a Friday night and the place was packed! Their menu is quite simple - you can get sliders, tenders, fries, Mac n cheese, shakes, and a few other items! We got the Dave's #2 which comes with 2 sliders and some fries with an extra tender on the side. The food was so good that it was worth the hour long drive it took to get there. The guy that was taking out was very nice and patient. Be careful which spice level you choose since the hot is nothing to snooze at.

They've gotten much better over the past year. Had some not so great experiences early on but they've nailed some large orders of mine recently. Good stuff, simple menu.
