TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

I was super excited to attend the opening day-I even stood in line for well over an hour. Now don't get me wrong the fried chicken is good, but the sides are comparable to just ok fast food. I'd not suggest the fries.

I am not normally in this part of California but I was in town and i had to stop by. The place is located in a shopping strip with other restaurants so parking isn't a big issue but during peak times you might now find parking closest to the restaurant. The inside looked unique and not like any other chicken place I have ever been to. Place was very clean for a well trafficked restaurant. Ordering and the Service was quick and fast. It's fast food, so go in remembering this and it'll help shape expectations. I ordered the 2 piece tender with cheesy fries. Overall I was impressed. I got hot and used the honey to temper the heat, it was perfect. The fries I ordered extra crispy to hold up to the cheese and it seemed to work overall, they did stay pretty crispy. the medium wasn't spicy so that was my bad for not ordering the hot level spice The fries were good
Love the spice options & flavored fries. Also, the milkshakes are just the right thickness
Great food. The vibe when walking in was cool. The art on the wall was very nice. The customer service is great and food was ready on time.
