This place is neat and clean. Our server was polite and gave recommendations since this was our first time here. We ordered the two sliders with fries, tenders with fries and a side of Mac n cheese. Heat level: hot. The chicken was well cooked-moist and spice level was great. Just enough heat to make the lips burn, but no so much that it's not enjoyable. I decided to rank 4 chicken sandwiches in approximately a 1 mile radius in Santa Rosa. Three of the four are in the fast food category and use some processed food items...but the price difference is not that significant. First time trying Dave's chicken. It reminded of Canes from a distance, so I gave it a try. I felt like the chicken wasn't cooked properly. The fries were okay...

The chicken is okay... It is overpriced. The service is good everyone is always nice. Your hot/spicy is different from their hot/spicy so be careful with the level of hot/spicy you get your chicken. Their milkshakes are really good. The fries are good. The Mac and cheese is okay...

I came into this Dave's twice and I gotta say it was much better the second time around. The first time I came, I feel like it was the grand opening weekend and they had long lines and the fries weren't as good compared to the second time. I like the cheese fries and Dave's sauce. Such juicy and flavorful chicken! I really love the spices, ordered mild which has some heat to it. Their fries have some spice seasoning on them and they are delicious!

Great seems a little extreme. Good seems inferior. Maybe a 4.5 Dave's has been open for over a year. I've been meaning to get there since it opened. I just kind of forgot about it (eating healthier over the past 9 mos has deterred my eating out during a majority of that time). Tonight was my chance. Smells good, taste good and the 3 stars are for presentation of my sandwich. Daves sauce was so skimpy i I literally had to look close to find if there was a little bit on it. There were probably three pieces of cabbage and four pieces of lettuce and when I say pieces, I mean the size of a nickel I'm not trying to get anyone in trouble, but today's world spending money is a subject by itself. Everything was good, but it was weird to have one sandwich on buns and the other on a single piece of bread? I'll give it another shot in the future, but as a first timer it was weird.
