Great chicken, great staff. We got the number 3, one slider (Medium Heat), 1 tender (Hot Heat Level) The flavors of the chicken were great and the chicken was juicy and hot. It came with crinkle cut fries, those were nicely salted are crispy. We also had their Vanilla milkshake but that was nothing special. It just tasted like a mid grade vanilla ice cream. Hot chicken, indeed! Very tasty chicken. Tender and generous portions. I had the Dave's #1, which was 2 chicken tenders and fries. They offer a variety of spice levels. I ordered mine medium spicy and wow! It delivered the heat! It was perfect for me. I wouldn't have wanted it any hotter. This felt comfortable and a nice kick. It was supposed to come with a side of Dave's sauce, but mine didn't, so I can't speak to the special Dave's sauce. Bummer. But I was given honey packets and enjoyed those with my chicken. This place serves you the absolute best spicy crispy chicken sandwich each and every time. Order the sliders here (The #2 is my go-to) and make drizzle a packet of some of the honey they give you on top of the crispy chicken, as is tradition, before you bite into it and enjoy the burst of flavor and mouth watering spice, and you'll understand why this place is so good. Nice to have a Dave's in the Detroit area now. They more or less only do chicken and a few sides so the menu is very limited. That being said, the chicken is excellent. We ordered the medium to be on the "safe" side and even the medium has some good heat so be careful...and we like extremely spicy food. The so-called tenders are huge and actually more like large breasts so two is likely more than enough for most people. Good chicken, everything else was Meh. First, the reason to go: the chicken. Very mild had some kick, while mild was, to us, spicy. No bones, quite tender. Good! The French fries were like the kind you get in the freezer section at Kroger. Yuck. The kale salad was blaaand, would not get again. I got the number 3 which is the Single Tender and the sandwich. I liked the tender a lot it had a lot of flavor I just don't like cole slaw which was in the sandwich. I was kind of disappointed they don't have ranch but they have their orange Side of Dave's Sauce, ketchup, and honey. The Mac and cheese was good and it came with pickles and I like pickles.

I was pleasantly surprised! The chicken had wonderful spice and flavor. It was fresh and the fries were very good. I didn't like the Mac and cheese. Order the chicken! Very yummy! The sauce is really good too. Better than Chick-fil-A!

Been back multiple times and the food is amazing and the service has been top notch. Keep up the good work DHC staff!!!! I will be back, at least 3 times a month.
