TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

My youngest son and I stopped at Dave's on a Wednesday night around 7 for a small bite. Dave's was about a block away from our hotel and I was quite intrigued. I ordered the two fingers and fries (hot) and my youngest son went for two sliders. Two sliders was a better portion! The Dave's sauce is really good. The service was good. I've been to Dave's Hot Chicken twice now. Both times, I've had the 1 Slider and 1 Tender combo, with fries. I have to say that I'm not overly impressed. I think the spicy chicken sandwich at Popeye's is better. The fries were crinkle-cuts that reminded me of grocery store Ore Ida's that you'd warm up in your oven. I did like the Tender, but only after I smothered it with Dave's sauce and honey. Still, it isn't something I'd go out of my way for. As it has been mentioned before, the value just isn't there.
This was so delicious! I got one hot and one medium, just incase the hot was too hot. Such good flavor, I love that it's a spice rather than a sauce. I would recommend anyone trying this. I will for sure be ordering again! Highly recommended!
Food is good . The place can get overcrowded with loud obnoxious teenagers but that's all of downtown west Dearborn . Most of the workers are nice and do their job . They do prioritize people who eat there over the ones getting carry out , otherwise I would've rated 4 stars .
Nothing better than biting into a Halal Medium hot Slider from Dave's hot chicken! The juicy chicken with added honey and extra Dave's hot chicken sauce is unbeatable! I love this place and definitely recommend it to everybody!
Came here a while back and not bad. The chicken sandwiches here are basically chicken tenders on on bread with all the bells and whistle of a hot chicken sandwich. They give you packets of the special sauce on the side and the crinkle cut fries were good. This place was not bad but being metro Detroit are starting to have more and more hot chicken sandwich places popping up, this one is more middle of the pack to me.
I got the 2 chicken sliders and fries it was great. The sliders are like regular chicken sandwich so your getting more than what you think. I got mild and hot neither was all that hot to me but I have a high spice tolerance. It was worth the $17 to me. I'll be going back.
The service was a little lacking. The food was decent but I've had better. My chicken was a bit dry but the texture was good.
The food was decent not worth the hype the ambiance was not the best you have to go early in the day if not you do not want to wait 20+ minute for your food service is slower later in the day
