TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

All chicken is dry rubbed to adjust "spice", I barely broke a sweat on the reaper their most intense variety. I'm not sure there is reaper in it, tastes more like ghost pepper which is fairly bitter. The medium had more sugar and paprika than anything. Hot was still sugary, which I was not a fan of. Fries taste of the chicken seasoning as well, one note. Really cool little spot, great vibe with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating - and a pickup window outside for online orders it looked like. The workers there all seemed kind and treated us well in the brief interaction we had with them, ordering is easy because the menu is truly pretty simple. Impulse late lunch delivered from this place was so good! Loved the spice of the medium and tried mild as well for both tenders and sliders. Will definitely be repeating- so far the best hot chicken I've found in Denver!
If you want hot, this is the place to be. The medium stings, I can't imagine going hotter but if that's your thing then you're going to love it!
Amazing. Crunchy fried chicken tossed in 1 of 7 sauces ranging from super mild to 'Reaper'. I had the 'Extra Hot' and it was just right. I would highly recommend for a quick bite.

Was a little hesitant at first because of the price point ($16 for 2 sandwiches and fries). Was able to sub mac and cheese for fries for no additional charge, as any normal human should. The sandwiches were way bigger than expected. 1 sandwich felt like the equivalent of 2 at any other chicken place. The chicken was juicy, crispy, and spicy. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite I took.
