TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Almost missed it on the street but I stopped by and was SO surprised at how good it was. I couldn't wait to go back and it was just as good the 2nd time through. I got the chicken strips with Medium spice and it was so yummy. The chicken was juicy and tender. Even the fries have spice on them. It is hands down my favorite chicken place now. I'm going to sneak up the spice level bit by bit to see the difference.
Super delicious sandwiches- and i think they have pretty good prices, you can get a meal with TWO sliders and fries for like $14! The no spice chicken still has good flavor! Their super hot chili- reaper- is hot... haha, obviously what they are going for- its good but not like the best to actually eat... they want to make it super hot so it tastes like they double fry it to coat it twice and it just ends up being too much, it would still be plenty hot with just the one coating but more yummy. Chicken was bomb! Literally juicy and flavorful. I got medium and it was a good hot. Fries were good too. Little pricey .... But still decent .
First time coming here, was pretty satisfied with our order. We got a #3 which is basically a chicken sandwich, fries and a tender. The chicken breast was pretty crispy on the outside, overall pretty good meal
First time trying Dave chicken. The chicken was cooked well however the dry rub seasoning was a little over powering. The hot flavor is very hot. Fries and Dave's sauces were very good. I would try again.
Service is amazing and the food is delicious. The place it's self is very colorful and a great vibe! Would recommend 100/10
Chicken was juicy but spicing was a little too much. My hubby didn't like. More of a fast food place, we were a little disappointed
Dave's is a perfect spot if you're looking for an indulgent meal. Located on Platte St just steps from Common's Park, this Dave's location is consistently fast and the interior is fun with ski and chicken decor. We each ordered the one tender and one slider meal.
