TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Having been a few times, my experience is that the sliders are consistently delicious. Two sliders and fries are filling and the price is right. The mac and cheese is, well, not the best I've had. The kale salad isn't very exciting but, it's meant to go on the sliders and it is perfect there. Orders are always done on time and employees are friendly. Ambiance? It's fast food and I can't say that it has a feeling or mood. It's just, tables and chairs and not a place you want to relax and linger over your dinner.

The chicken is amazing here, I keep it mild with the seasoning. The service is great, the staff is friendly and location is really clean. The chicken is sooo good!!!

The menu is simple, the employees are nice and work hard to provide great service, the restaurant is pretty clean and the upbeat music sets a great ambiance. Now the food is what it's really about, the chicken is delicious even if I can't handle the hot flavor. The Dave's sauce is great, the fries are crisp and perfectly seasoned. We eat here every couple weeks and always have a great meal, I highly recommend it.
