TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Inside was very loud and decorated with graffiti art on the wall. Art was cool, music was kinda annoyingly loud, standard pop and rap. Service was pretty good, moving fast but friendly enough. Kinda expensive for chicken tenders/sandwiches but standard for the bay area compared to places like chicken drip and angry chicks. You will be full on 2 tenders and fries. Worth it if you have some extra money to spend and don't want to spend the time making your own tenders.
The food is great, the various spice levels make this a great option for the whole family to love. The service is great and the employees are kind. Andres was a great help and very accommodating. This is one of my favorite spots in Union City.

Alrighty... So let's start by saying how packed this place was on a Wednesday evening... VERY! So much so that because we caught an appetite while shopping that we decided to check it out. I recently went with friends. I ordered the chicken tenders (item #1), and my friends tried the chicken sandwiches (items #2 and #3) with medium spice. The food was excellent. Their chicken sandwiches and tenders are consistently good. If you like a kick, you'll love their spicy options. Service was quick; you order at the counter and pick up your food when it's ready. The restaurant's ambiance is casual, similar to a McDonald's.
