Not like Nashville hot chicken. I know I am in the minority here, but I don't care for the flavor of the seasoning in the chicken and the fries. It tastes like taco meat seasoning mix, and not like Nashville hot chicken which I was thinking it would be. The overall quality of the food is good for sure but I just don't care for the seasoning mix that's in the chicken and fries. We door-dashed this order for a late night hotel snack. Their tenders are phenomenal and MASSIVE. Definitely worth the price. This is by far my favorite chicken restaurant. I usually get lite mild because I'm not too good with spice, but this is perfect for me. The only reason why it's not five stars is because on doordash there is no option for extra sauce. I have been to Dave's hot chicken before at Fountain valley, but this was my first time coming to this location. Today, I decided to take my boyfriend here since I have always wanted to take him here and never got the chance to. Today, we got the Dave's #2 which consist of 2 sliders w/fries. Update: They resolved it! They did more than resolve things. I was honestly shocked at the sense of urgency and determination that I was met with upon management learning about the debacle that occurred during our previous interaction. I only came back hoping to have had things made right but was accommodated far beyond expectation on both the management and corporate level. Fun little dinner spot in Anaheim! This location had plenty of seating available, two self serve kiosk as well as employees available to take your order or answer questions at the counter. We ordered the sliders combo which came with a side of fries with the mild seasoning. And unfortunately they got rid of their cauliflower options which I was excited to try so I got a side of Mac n cheese. This place is pretty good. They need to give more French fries tho. Super stingy on the fries. You get a free drink with a yelp check in.
