The food was ok. I ordered The #1, waited about 20-30 minutes. It was pretty busy but not crazy but my food came out lukewarm, which I was not expecting since the wait was a bit long. They have 2 kiosk and I think 1 or 2 registers which makes the order process quick. The bathroom was also closed off by trashcans, not sure if it was employees only, not much seating on the inside, but outside which Is great for fresh air. Complete incompetence. During the lunch hour on Monday the 27th. There are six customers all standing there already ordered. No food was coming out of the kitchen. Literally, we all stood there for twenty minutes and not a single order came out. I had to get my money back and go back to work w/o lunch. Everyone just go east on Katella to FARMER BOYS. they will at least feed you. Dave's Hot Chicken is a failure. Could not get food out.

So disappointed in our visit today. We are avid loyal Dave's customers. We got to the restaurant @ 5:54. It is 6:43. Our order is still not out. Food has been sitting in the window, getting cold. We ordered ours to go. Only one guy was in the front running the front. Guys in the back were not helping in the front. Poorly managed restaurant. We won't be back to this DAVE'S. We will go to other hot chicken places closer to home. To bad for the owner.

I literally waited for 30 minutes and people that ordered after me got there food. I asked if I could get a refund and they said ok. I explained I came from work especially here after my night shift and they didn't respond. I said I still don't have my food. He sad sorry we are busy. I said I understand that and I've come here before and I have waited. But people after me got their order. He said nothing. And gave me the refund. Guess what never coming back and you lost a customer and I'll let everyone I know how you treate... read more

I have come here many times. Usually the service is good but today it was horrible. It took 25 minutes to get the chicken sandwich and then the fries were cold. Not sure what the problem is today but next time I will leave the tip after I see the food and service

Went to this Dave's location at 2065 E Katella today. Dave's is my usual go to for Halal chicken burgers and this one was unfortunately very disappointing. We got our food in about 30 minutes after we placed the order, understandable since it was very busy. However, the food was lukewarm at best. The fries seemed to be cooked in old oil and were actually inedible with a strong strange taste. We usually go to the location in Fontana, which is much much better and of very high-quality.
