TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Chicken sliders are good as always. I went with the "hot" level sauce. I'm pretty sure that's my limit. They have four basic combo meals, see menu pics attached. I'm not a fan of their fries, which are kind of dull. They really need ketchup. Parking can be dicey as there are a lot of restaurants in the same strip mall. The food was great although the first time I tried it I didn't like the spicy one personally I went back and got the no spice and it was so good and buttery. The sauce is great as well and the coleslaw. The vibe is a traditional southern chicken place. 10/10
Review 20 here folks, Daves is a nice chicken spot for late night craves. It indeed has very hot flavors and the service is always alright, pretty spacious interior but nothing new just a good spot if you crave 7.5/10
Generous serving of chicken in my loaded fries. Shakes are real good too, just a little pricey. Overall well seasoned and filling.

Dave's Hot Chicken offers a rather diverse menu that can offer a whole range of experiences depending on the spice level you choose. I was able to get the Hot spice level and do find but I did find myself needing some water towards the end. Lina the cashier was great! It was my first time and I'm vegetarian so she was really helpful and patient! The cauliflower bites were also amazing!
