I recently tried Dave's Hot Chicken and it definitely lived up to the hype. The chicken was incredibly crispy on the outside and really juicy on the inside. You can choose different spice levels, which is great because it lets you go as mild or as spicy as you want. I went with a medium heat and it had the perfect kick without being overwhelming. five stars this is the best chicken spot in all of South Bend. Definitely all of Notre Dame.... The food is always beyond words can describe but it's an all about the vibes environment. It's always busy because it's so damn good. Carlos and Jeremy are two of the best employees here regardless of what position they are they go above and beyond they greet their customers they show respect and that makes a big deal in the fast food industry. I had lunch at Dave's Hot Chicken. The place has a loud rock vibe which is fine. I had the two tenders and fries. I ordered medium because I was unsure how spicy they would be. I like spicy food, but you gotta be careful. It was a 20 minute wait for the meal. The tenders were just ok. Not really a medium in my opinion. The flavor was ehhh without a hint of spiciness. As a vegetarian I love their cauliflower options. All of them are so tasty. I prefer the nuggets because they have more breaded seasoned surface area but the slider is really good too. I get it with cheese. Their cheese fries are delicious too. I've dined in twice but I usually order on Postmates. I must say my last order on Postmates was amazing! It came right on time and was super hot. Everything was fresh and I didn't have to reheat anything. I also love their top loaded shakes. Fruity pebbles is delicious and nostalgic.

Yummy! Food is always tasty and always make sure to get extra sauce and honey (free). They also have cauliflower sliders and bites for vegetarians, which has very flavorful breading (check to make sure your location has it though!). Fries are always very tasty and seasoned. Food doesn't come out extremely fast, but is reasonable. Service is average, but that is to be expected when right next to a college town. Inside is always pretty clean with a decent amount of seating.

I was pleasantly surprised with Dave's. The tenders were tasty and cooked perfectly. The Dave's sauce is not as good as some of the competitors sauces but their chicken might be better to be honest.

Dave's doesn't serve food--they serve fiery, flavor-packed life lessons. The chicken? Juicy, crispy, and hotter than the other guys. I ordered the "hot" level thinking I was tough--turns out, I'm not. I cried a little. Might've sweat through my shirt. Zero regrets. 5/5 I will return
