TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Came here for the first time with my kids. We had the chicken tenders and sliders with fries and mac’n cheese. Everything was really delicious. The coleslaw in the slider was on point. I’m not a big pickle guy, but these large crispy cuts were doable. The fries are well seasoned and the mac’n cheese were a bit gooier, but delicious. LOVE the plant based chicken "Not chicken" recently quit eating animal products due to health issues and this not chicken was amazing. I loved it, packed with flavors that explode in your mouth. They are crispy and the spice were fantastic.

Savoring Dave's Hot Chicken was an absolute delight; their juicy, tender, and impeccably fresh chicken left a lasting impression on our family, especially on a rainy day. We're already planning our next visit to relish that unforgettable taste once more.
Chicken was great, however the sandwich was pretty weak in comparison to other chicken places. Also, heat level was a little lacking. I got hot spice level and there was hardly any spice at all. Fries were excellent though!
