TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

I came in one time it was fire, second time it was kinda a miss but I will for sure come again.

I've heard about Dave's on social media and was really excited to try it on my trip to College Station. I went for lunch on a Friday through the drive thru and it took 25 minutes from ordering to getting my food with 4 cars in front of me. I'm curious if it would have been any faster if I had gone in since it didn't seem like there were that many cars in front either. Honestly, we really wanted to love this place and we just...didn't. We ordered from the drive through. My partner ordered the mild spice plate and I ordered the medium spice. The spiciness level appeared to be the same on both plates, the bread was not very fresh and the fries were stone cold for both of us. Maybe they weren't freshly cooked for us or were perhaps left over from the main lunch rush. I will say that the chicken was nice and tender underneath the spicy crust.
very good moist chicken! nice workers :) mix up was resolved quickly. i would recommend. milkshake was nasty and melted. i didn't drink it for my safety

We are from out of town. Dallas and this was our first time here. Naymond was so patient with my family of 6 and helped us with all our needs. The food was fresh and fast! Check this place out.
Absolutely loved the flavor of the chicken & honey was a great touch in addition to the spice. The "Dave's sauce" wasn't my favorite, but the chicken was so well flavored it didn't need it. A little pricey, I think there could have been more fries for what you're paying for. More caffeine free drink options would be nice.
