LOVE the food here. The chicken is perfectly cooked and seasoned. The fries are amazing. Try some honey on a hot chicken sandwich. AMAZING. I don't understand the poor reviews.

I've heard about Dave's on social media and was really excited to try it on my trip to College Station. I went for lunch on a Friday through the drive thru and it took 25 minutes from ordering to getting my food with 4 cars in front of me. I'm curious if it would have been any faster if I had gone in since it didn't seem like there were that many cars in front either. Honestly, we really wanted to love this place and we just...didn't. We ordered from the drive through. My partner ordered the mild spice plate and I ordered the medium spice. The spiciness level appeared to be the same on both plates, the bread was not very fresh and the fries were stone cold for both of us. Maybe they weren't freshly cooked for us or were perhaps left over from the main lunch rush. I will say that the chicken was nice and tender underneath the spicy crust.

The food and service has been pretty chill. I got everything I wanted right and the food tasted nice. Student discount is cool too.

very good moist chicken! nice workers :) mix up was resolved quickly. i would recommend. milkshake was nasty and melted. i didn't drink it for my safety
