I was in the area after my yoga class and was looking for something to eat. Lo and behold, I found this place. I must have entered about 11:30am, so it wasn't crowded. Barry was the counter person. He greeted me as soon as I walked in. He was very pleasant and professional. He was honest about the level of hotness/ heat levels. Fine for what it is. The hot chicken is spicy for sure. But real Nashville hot chicken isn't as oily as it is here. Other than that, the food tastes good. But it's also pretty expensive.

For someone who doesn't like hot sauce anything, coleslaw AND really spicy food, this place is pretty damn good. We've tried this place twice, and have had nothing but great things to say. First time was in store when we were eating our way through DT Brooklyn and second time was an online order from the Bay Ridge restaurant, where it's much closer to us. Food is good but come on now, so stingy on the fries. :( Maybe it depends on the person who preps the food.....because the first time when I went, the food was hot (in temperature) and the fries were well and evenly seasoned and there was a good amount of it. I'm a bit disappointed this time.

So the worker didn't know much about the menu so don't ask. Thank goodness for other customers, the place was nice an chicken was moist even tho it didn't look like it would be

Holy crap if you like spicy...this is a good option! Delivery was super fast. I chose the hot option for my sliders....and WOW! I can't even imagine what the hotter options are! I have a pretty high tolerance to spicy and my eyes are tearing! I am very pleased and will DEFINITELY order again!

I got the #3 1 tender + 1 slider with fries combo and really enjoyed my meal. I ordered the "hot" spiciness level and found it to be the perfect amount of heat. The bun, pickles, and Dave's sauce complimented the juicy chicken so well in the slider but the slaw was just meh. The tender was ok...probably would skip it next time and just get the slider. I've always heard about Dave's Hot Chicken and it's surprising to see one open up in Bay Ridge. I'm not complaining though because at least I don't have to go all the way to downtown Brooklyn or Manhattan for it. I ordered a slider at the mild level because I didn't know what to expect. Came here afterwork on a weekday, the place wasn't too busy, ordered a #3 (1 tender, 1 slider, with fries, it also comes with coleslaw and pickles) and a side of Mac and cheese. Nice decor with graffitied wall. I ordered my chicken in Hot level spice since it's my first time eating from here, did not know what to expect, and I generally eat things a bit on the spicy side.
