TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Excellent, juicy hot chicken sandwiches & fries. Super clean. They do take a while to get our food out but there were lots of people ordering and totally worth the wait. We got Dave's order #2.
Outstanding food, outstanding customer service—just absolutely OUTSTANDING! This location is very clean and well kept. Jessica, the employee working at the counter, was very helpful considering it was our first visit, and also very friendly. Great classic Dave’s spot! Same great taste.. Same great decor.. Same great Dave’s. Hot chicken at its best. The fries were seasoned well and had excellent flavor. Whenever you see a Dave’s Hot Chicken in your area, count yourself lucky! There are many variations and competitors, but only one real Hot Chicken King.
I knew that it was good, but to be honest it was even better than I expected. The sliders were absolutely delicious.
We have been excited for this location to open up. It was definitely worth the wait. The chicken was excellent. The breading was perfectly crunchy. The seasoning is delicious and pairs perfectly with the sauce. The fries are great too, lightly seasoned. Will definitely be back for more!
