TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Good on flavor, small on portion size. The strips of chicken were definitely small but they were very flavorful. I had mild and added honey on top. Good flavor and crunch. Hubs got the hot and in his opinion it was more medium than hot. Mac and cheese tasted like your typical velveeta cheese. Order and pay at the counter. Bathrooms were clean.
Ok, so I wasn't sure what to expect with this place. I'd heard from friends the food here was really good so my son and I figured we would test it out. Upon entering the shop it is bright, cheerful and clean. The cashier greeted us with a smile and took our order after all my many questions. Don't forget i had never been here before HaHa. Went to Dave's Hot Chicken for the first time this evening off Temecula pkwy and ordered the sliders combo. When I saw sliders on the menu, I just assumed they would be small but one of the employees told me they were pretty good size actually so I tried them out. Order came out quickly less than 10 mins which was surprising because it was very busy in the lobby. Went home to eat and it was amazing. Download their app as they always have some special reward waiting for you. Friendly advice: don't order the hottest option, I recommend the 2nd hottest or anything lower based on your tolerance level. I suggest one of their combo meals that include a slider, fries, and a drink. Everything tastes so good! Only gripe is the high prices, but it's well worth it in quality.
