TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

I stopped in for a quick bite to eat and was impressed. To be honest I thought it was going to be overrated but it was not bad. The Chicken crispy and very well seasoned. Making the sandwich fabulous especially with the dipping sauce and crisp pickles.
Me and my husband LOVE Dave's!! My husband only eats halal, so how convenient is it that we can get fried chicken sandwiches right in the neighborhood!?! We always get the # 2 (2 sliders and fries) and share it because the sandwiches are so huge. I get the plain sandwich (no sauce, no sauce *beyonce voice*) with cheese and my husband gets the hot chicken sandwich. Very busy for a Friday night but the wait wasn't too long and the food was great. Very well seasoned. Customer service was great.
Dave's Hot Chicken brought the fire with their crunchy chicken sandwich and crispy cut fries. I enjoyed this sandwich (arguably just as much as popular chains like Chick Fil A) but what took the cake was their Dave's sauce for me! The original sandwich comes with onions, pickles and chicken with the option to choose your spice level for the sandwich. This chicken is seasoned heavily. The hot flavor is indeed hot. The medium was more bearable. The fries were great. I love that the food is made fresh and comes out hot. The customer service was great, very friendly and helpful. They do have a small section to eat in.

This was my second time to a Dave's Hot Chicken but first to this store. Food was delicious with juicy chicken and breading but what stood out to me was how pleasant the staff was.
Dave's is always a must when in the Charlotte area. It's a small establishment & stays busy so I rarely eat in. The menu is pretty basic but the chicken is juicy & flavorful & the fries, your run of the mill basic crinkle fries but cooked crispy like I like & seasoned to perfection! Drizzle some honey on your chicken tenders ( you choose your spice level) and thank me later!
so much different inside than expected, but cool. our cashier was nice and informative as this was our first time visiting.
