This was my very first time trying here, and all I can say it was AMAZING!, the staff was friendly the food tasted great came out hot and fresh, food tasted like the staff actually cared about the customers. I ordered sliders and fries there were nothing bland about it, my food was very hot& flavorful, in my opinion better than Raising Cane's to me, I promise you this place won't disappoint, I will definitely be back. Love the chicken! We got the mild, no spice and hot and each one was great. The portion sizes are good for the price. Will definitely be going back. Everyone was friendly and super helpful. Clean and inviting.

Now I'm not Christian by any means, or religious at all. Coming here made me realize that god does exist and he presides here, in Dave's Hot Chicken. I felt connected to my true inner self eating here. My taste buds experienced things like no other, and were jubilant while eating. 10/10, would come again.

We went there on opening day pretty late around 9pm and the line was out the door. was really impressed at how they managed the line and got everyone taken care. The staff was learning and that is ok they was doing a fantastic job of managing. we went there because it is halal and i took a picture of the cert as well and will go back there often even though i live in illinois. Grand opening of Dave's hot chicken for dinner!! (Even though they seemed to have opened yesterday, maybe a soft opening?) The line was OUT THE DOOR but it was moving pretty quick. Everyone there was so friendly, they passed out menus to people in line & little gifts like a toy chicken! Haha. Once we got up to the front ordering was super easy & the food came out QUICK! I good food poisoning from here. Which sucks because the service was amazing and so was the food itself. The cashier and workers in general were very lively and friendly and the food was delicious and a good level of spice of mild. It just sucks because I really enjoyed the food but obviously there is some cleaning to be done and hazards that need to be sorted out.

Do not ever order online from this place. They dont know how make the food you pay for and can't get anything right. Almost spent $100 on food from here and don't get three of are meals and then when I come back to get the rest of my food they are missing another meal. Don't recommend ordering from the online. And they take forever to make the food sat inside waiting for over 15 minutes. Don't recommend this place at all.

Save your money and go somewhere else. Trying to copy cat Cane's but it was not even close. Maybe be more original and not try to copy ( badly may I add) . The chicken skin was rock hard. I did get a few pieces of maybe nice tender juicy chicken only when I tried to open the rock of the outside. The sauce is nothing special, but they wanted to make it just like someone else's but they failed miserably. Now they did give a ton of pickles but they were not good. The fries, were the only highlight.

Dave's Hot Chicken is overrated asl. TikTok had me fooled--dry chicken, taco seasoning vibes, and nowhere near as they hype it up to be. Solid 2 stars.
