Dave's Hot Chicken is overrated asl. TikTok had me fooled--dry chicken, taco seasoning vibes, and nowhere near as they hype it up to be. Solid 2 stars.

Food is normally good but yesterday my husband got violently ill! Most likely food poisoning.

Was good the first few times, but this time the chicken was way too sweet, I couldn't even finish it. I got the wrong order and was charged more than my actual meal.

While the workers have zero interest in moving with purpose or any sense of urgency, my fries were cold and my chicken was fantastic.

I have dined at this Dave's four times since they have opened. The atmosphere is fun, the restaurant is always clean, and the staff is friendly and polite. Honestly, just wonderful people at this location. Very kind and genuine. That is truly remarkable in this job market and economy. Well done in that respect! What I'm not a fan of, is the chicken and pricing. The numbered combos featured on the menu board do not include a drink. Only a piece of chicken and fries. The food was ok. The thing that turned me off was they charged me $1.99 for an empty cup so I could get some water. That's ridiculous!

20 min wait time with almost no line and empty restaurant for two tenders, and one if the tenders was about 1/8 inch think.
