For lunch, my husband and I decided to grab something quick while we were out shopping over the weekend. We went to Dave's Hot Chicken. This place has me excited when it comes to the "Dave's Not Chicken" menu. I ordered Cauli Dave's #3, which is 1 Cauli Tender & 1 Cauli Slider W/ Fries. This is so delicious! Store was pretty clean and service at the register was great. However, it took a long while to get our food. But, we weren't in a rush, so it was ok especially if that meant it was fresh. 3 of us ordered the tenders, and they were to our specified spice level, and were hot in temp. However, one person received cold nuggets which was very weird for the length of time it took. So, they made them again and they were hot the 2nd time. Everyone was pretty satisfied with their chicken and fries.

The service was great, I came along with my family at night and it was busy. It was my first time trying Dave's Hot chicken so I wasn't sure how it was supposed to actually taste. We ordered their tender and burger combo with mild and honestly I wish I got more sauce. The meat was tender and crunchy but I think it lacked a bit of flavor in it; although with the sauce, it made it more flavorful but I don't usually like getting sauce. The food was good but we waited more than other places like Dave's. The restaurant was pretty much a mess with paper and napkins on the floor, spilled liquid in some places, and just needed a good cleaning. It was very busy with a lot of takeouts and people at tables.

We stopped by around 8pm on a Wednesday night and we were told it would be a 45 minute wait. We wanted to eat here so we decided to wait it out. Checking out was a bit akward as the cashier seemed a bit annoyed we stayed. I ordered the two piece tender meal and a side of mac and cheese. I ordered the tenders to be of a medium spice but was definitely given a spicier one as I could not finish my second tender... The mac and cheese was really good. First visit and very impressed. The chicken is super tender and flavorful. Spice level is pretty well described it comes spiced as requested. Service is top-notch friendly and with a smile Restaurant was clean but can get loud if it's busy

Thursday nights in Soda City somehow always turn into a little adventure -- and tonight's adventure ended exactly where it needed to: Dave's Hot Chicken. There's just something about wandering Target aisles, convincing yourself you only came in for one thing, and then rewarding yourself with a late-night chicken tender run. Overall thought the flavors were really good and quantity was great for the pricing. The mild was good not having too much spice, and the service was pretty great. I would definitely say this elevated the fried chicken fast food game for me!

Always fresh and always delicious. Dave's Hot Chicken never disappoints when you're craving spicy chicken tenders or a solid sandwich. The chicken is juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly every time. The fries are good--not the best--but you're definitely coming here for the chicken. Would absolutely recommend if you're in the mood for heat and quality.
