I've seen quite a bit of buzz around Dave's so I decided to try it myself. Spicy chicken, sauce galore, fries. Sounds good to me. I ordered two sliders medium heat and I really enjoyed it. The heat doesn't overpower the chicken as I've experienced with many hot chicken dishes. The sandwich just works. Chicken was juicy, fries nice and crunchy. No regrets!

I absolutely love Spicy food and Dave's Hot Chicken definitely lived up to its names. Hate going somewhere and they advertised that their food is spicy and it's not. The chicken was Very Juicy even though it's a dry rub on their chicken. I'm picky when it comes to my pickles they were perfect n crunchy. Their secret sauce was the perfect balance to the slider and great to dip the crispy fries. Just wish they cared Dr.Pepper and it would have been haven on earth. The staff was friendly and fast.

We finally tried out Dave's Hot chicken and definitely did its job at surprisingly me with delicious food. Don't let the strip mall space deter you. This place is legit. We were fortunate enough to find a table it was so busy! Everything tasted so fresh and very much quality ingredients. The chicken tenders are huge! But they are not dry and perfectly crispy! The medium heat wasn't quite spicy enough but I will definitely be back. Make sure you polish everything off with a vanilla milkshake!

I come to Columbia for work and I always stop at Dave's Hot Chicken. The food is always good and the staff and service are wonderful, fast, and friendly. I would describe the ambiance as being more trendy and classier than a fast food restaurant, but not a fast casual. It is my favorite place to eat.

First time ordering Dave's Hot Chicken and I was unimpressed. I ordered the chicken sandwich and tender combo in hot and mild. The flavor on both items were an acquired taste. They were overly seasoned and almost too salty to enjoy. The macaroni presentation and taste were not pleasant. I did enjoy the fries and dipping sauce and the food was fresh. Not sure if I would dine here again.

I came the other day as a DoorDasher and I'm going to assume they were behind on orders because they told me it would be a few minutes. So I wait, not even 5 minutes later they tell me the order is ready! The young man working gave me a inconvenience card for the wait, but I wasn't even waiting for a long time! Regardless they have great customer service will even being under pressure!

I have been here a few times and it has been pretty good. If you like a little spice with your chicken, this is the place to go. There are many different spice levels to choose from. Personally medium is my favorite. Anything hotter than that loses the taste of the chicken and clears your sinuses. They also have ice cream shakes. The employees have been really nice. Sometimes the wait can be long though, especially when busy. Restrooms appear clean. I plan on going back.
