TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

I don’t review often unless I’m particularly impressed by a meal, and honestly cannot recommend Dave’s enough. I was a die hard Music City Hot Chicken fan for years, but Dave’s opened up just a little while back and I haven’t been anywhere else since. I had the most incredible first time experience at this Dave's Hot Chicken. Cole was our cashier and was the sweetest person ever. Was even patient with explaining the menu items to help us choose. We ended up getting 2 hot chicken sliders that tasted amazing.there sauce makes a really great combo with the fries and sliders. Was very pleased with our experience.

I’ve been to other Dave’s Hot chicken restaurants in the Denver area and this by far was the best experience at this location. The staff were very friendly and helpful with suggesting different combinations that I wouldn’t have thought of myself. The girl running the register had great energy and was very pleasant. I believe her name was Sam. Great chicken sandwich, friendly staff, and great atmosphere. Wouldn’t drive up into Fort Collins specifically for this, but it is a solid option instead of going into Old Town. Much more accessible than Canes up the road.
