TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Count your days. Giving me fries thats been sitting only box with fresh fries was the one on top that I took the spices off for my daughter. I could’ve kept my $45 in my pocket. First and last time going to the Southfield location. I would’ve went back had I not had my 10 month only with me. Would’ve been nice if the picked up the phone
The food is what you expect from chicken tenders. I think it’s a little expensive for the quantity and size of chicken. But, for what I ate it was good and fresh. The pickles are very good though! The cashier was not very pleasent to deal with. But apart from the order taking experience, place is worth a shot.
I’m a big fan of cool graffiti & chicken, so naturally this should be heaven. I’ve passed this place many times but just over looked, but not today. I was surprised by the interior only because I was expecting a generic cookie cutter restaurant. Aside from the cool urban vibe the chicken was darn tootin good. Chrissy best cashier ask for her. Came before closing food was semi lukewarm But it still hit. The sauce goes crazy. I got the slush too it was a hit. Sliders recommended. I got tenders alone with a piece of bread and wasn’t feeling it. I would go back for Chrissy and if someone else paid. Dave’s chicken good just somewhat overrated for the price.
A year ago I was helping my brother-in-law install sound, video and computer systems into a Dave's Hot Chicken outside Orlando, FL, the first in the state. Since they weren't open yet, I never got to try the food. Fast forward a year, I'm in a different state, different climate (it was snowing an hour ago) and what do I see but a Dave's.
