TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

The line for Raising Cane's was down the block. I had it before, I knew it wasn't worth the wait. I went to Dave's and was immediately served by polite & professional staff. Restaurant kept nice and clean throughout. Get the #3 combo, can't go wrong. Know how well you can handle spicy chicken before going here. Chicken was crispy, flavorful, and juicy. Service was exceptional. The young lady at the counter was very polite and helpful and the lady that gave me my order was on top of it. I commend the customer service. The food was good and tenders are a good size, I only had one with fries and it filled me up. My only complaint is the food is expensive already and the combo didn't even come with a drink, I mean i had to give blood to get the food, I shouldn't have to give a kidney for the drink.
I am visiting from Canada, on a business trip. Searched up halal options nearby and found Dave’s. I am impressed with the taste, menu and quality. We have Popeyes, Mary Browns and KFC, all halal now, in Canada. But you guys beat all of them!
I've tried two different Dave's Hot Chicken locations and both have been on point. DON'T LET THE WORD "SLIDER" FOOL YOU! These sandwiches are huge!! I think the medium spice level is the perfect choice for flavor and just a touch of heat. I feel they provide a great value and amazing flavor.
This has always been my go-to restaurant for quality food. The tenders are always juicy, full of flavor, and large in proportion in comparison to the "sliders". The seasoning they coat the breading with is my favorite I've ever tasted. The variety of different ingredients they include with the sandwiches is also top notch, and provides the perfect blend of flavors for me.
