Date of visit: October 23, 2025 I've only really had Dave's Hot Chicken one time before--right when they opened they stopped into our office with a number of samples to encourage us to come in. I don't do lunch very often, but when I had a meeting with my boss this seemed like a nice change of pace and also ensured that I wasn't cheating on my husband by going to Raising Cane's without him! Decent quality and an option for real spicy heat if you sign a gimmicky "waiver". I still prefer chicken from CFA, and the spice options at BWW, but this is a nice change of pace.
Great chicken (some very hot) Very prompt and friendly staff. This has become a weekly lunch stop .
I rarely review anything. We love Dave's in my family hand down. I personally feel that they are way underrate that what thwy deserve. But those who know how good they are, don't need Daves to do anything extra. But this review is not about their food. It is about the service I received at the Wauwatosa, WI location. I love Dave's Hot Chicken in general. This location is really busy but though, which isn't bad, but it's a little slower than others. I love the painting on the wall. Tonight, our orders were wrong and I bit a bone, so that was not ideal.
