TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

A coworker recently told me how good the food was, here, and he certainly was not joking! I stopped in, today, and ordered their 1 slider (w/cheese) + 1 tender with fries meal with Dave’s hot seasoning and omg everything was great! Fries were nice and crispy and had plenty of flavor (they came with a cup of dipping sauce that was also quite good!), the chicken was cooked perfectly, the hot seasoning was very flavorful and delicious, and the meal also comes with a few yummy pickle slices. First time trying out Dave's. It's nice to have a change of pace when choosing chicken sandwiches. Came for lunch and I anticipated to be busy and they were somewhat but we were able to order and sit down immediately. We were given a buzzer to notified when out food would be ready. It wasn't a long wait at all. Since I've never tried before I went with the number 3; One Tender & One Slider w/ Fries. The place is really cool; everything is brand new, shiny, clean, and inviting. The service was fast, but the employees found time to smile, play with kids, and answer questions for first-timers. The food is really, really good! I am not a spicy kind of guy, but I got the medium one to test the whole experience, and it wasn't spicy at all for my taste. I am trying super hotter the next time, and yes, I am definitely coming back!
This place is legit and it’s the little things that count. Not only is the food simple and delicious but you can get unlimited pickles and sauce which to me are things that just don’t happen much these days. Also, the people working there had a really cool big metal pole to smash the trash down in the cans and I thought that was awesome as a sidenote. And the whole place was SUPER clean. Highly Recommend!
chicken has a lot of powder 😫 it's okay. But it is really cold inside outside seats are cool kale slaw is good I like the decor everything was okay 👍 I made it out alive obviously
