TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

It was decent food, Good service. But for the price I'll have to go to chicken foot for my chicken.

Two slider meal with a side of pickles. It was great. Got the medium spice and it was perfect. Fries were still good after a 30 min drive home. Service was great. Friendly staff. Will be back.
Pretty not bad. Fast and accurate order, I got the hot and be advised it's spicy hot, but real good Large portions, I'll come back for sure.
First time trying out Dave's. It's nice to have a change of pace when choosing chicken sandwiches. Came for lunch and I anticipated to be busy and they were somewhat but we were able to order and sit down immediately. We were given a buzzer to be notified when our food would be ready. It wasn't a long wait at all. Since I've never tried before I went with the number 3; One Tender & One Slider w/ Fries. The place is really cool; everything is brand new, shiny, clean, and inviting. The service was fast, but the employees found time to smile, play with kids, and answer questions for first-timers. The food is really, really good! I am not a spicy kind of guy, but I got the medium one to test the whole experience, and it wasn't spicy at all for my taste. I am trying super hotter the next time, and yes, I am definitely coming back!
Even with the hustle and bustle of a grand opening, Dave's was a well-oiled machine that got my order placed quickly and got me out the door within 20 minutes or so (they hadn't opened up online/call-in ordering at opening - it's available now btw). Even with a packed restaurant, the employees were helpful and friendly and got through the line of customers at a rapid pace. Dave's travels surprisingly well for fried chicken. Stopped by the new Dave's in Chisholm Creek and it was delicious as always. The food was hot and the service was fast. The employees were very friendly and welcoming. The art work inside is always awesome. One of the things we really enjoyed besides the chicken were the shakes! The Oreo shake is a must try!
Wow! This chicken is hands down the best. Fresh, juicy, crispy, and full of flavor. The sliders are my favorite. I typically dont like slaw, but their kale slaw on the slider is so damn good! Service was phenomenal; everyone was so friendly. Love the atmosphere and vibes! Great artwork in the dining room!
