TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

I've been a longtime customer of the West Covina location ever since they opened. I can safely say the quality and size of the food at the new location hasn't been sacrificed. The tenders are just as delicious, succulent, hot as effing hell as always. If anything, the tenders were just a bit larger here. From the moment you walk in the atmosphere and music is great. Menu is very basic and straight to the point. We ordered Dave's #1 which includes: 2 chicken tenders on a slice of bread, a side of fries and pickles. We were asked if we wanted cheese on the chicken and fries and we said yes. I would opt out for no cheese on my chicken, but that is a personal preference. The price is a little steep for two meals. We paid about $40 including a tip. Great food and service. The girl taking orders was friendly and attentive, and the dining area was clean. Food was very good, and the portions are large, tbh I'll probably get something smaller next time I go. Overall great experience, I hope this location does well.
Awesome food and service. Chicken is so good. Love their sliders at medium to hot heat. Great taste. Great flavor. Their kale slaw is delicious too. Service is outstanding. Kyle is the best. He has a huge smile, is friendly, and professional. He's accurate and prompt. Way to go! Love this DHC. I'll be back for more.
Emily was the best, great customer service, going again!!! Food was amazing, although the reaper was indeed very hot! Amazing time, amazing chicken!!!!
So excited it's finally open. Sliders are amazing, we got the bites, Mac, and fries too. Good food overall, so happy they're open here!
