I've heard about Dave's Hot Chicken through word of mouth and decided to order a meal during my lunch break from work. I ordered the Dave's #1 meal which was their 2 tender and fries meal. The sauce wasn't too bad though I felt like I ate a mix of ketchup and mayo altogether and a bit more sodium than I usually ingest. I finally tried Dave's hot chicken, inspired by TikTok videos. The workers were friendly. The chicken slider had a nice chunk of meat, but I wished it had more kale slaw. The hot chicken bites were strong and dry, with a dry seasoning taste. I prefer their chicken in sandwiches for better flavor. The mac and cheese was ok. I want to try very hot category next time.

I've always seen Dave's Chicken online and finally tried them out. I had their tenders and chocolate cookies in cream shake. I love their shake it has more of a frosty consistency and the cookies add texture which I love in a shake or ice cream in general. Chicken is fresh, service is great, and the wait is not long. I was so excited to go to this new chicken fast food. all they do is chicken so maybe they have a good product. the ambiance is nice, clean comfortable. You order at the counter then you go pick up your food. the lady at the counter was nice and was not in any hurry. she explained the menu to us. We had some of their nuggets, tenders, and fries. Absolutely the best fried chicken sandwich I've had in Florida! The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy inside. I ordered the Hot level, and it was seriously spicy--even for someone who loves heat--so choose your spice level wisely. The fries were excellent too!

Ordered takeout from Dave's Hot Chicken and it was absolutely from start to finish. I went with the top-loaded fries -- no slaw, no pickles -- and they were amazing. Even as takeout, everything held up perfectly. The fries were still crispy, the chicken was hot and juicy, and that cheesy, spicy combo on top was just unreal. Pretty good. Would just stick to the sandwich as the fries were nothing special. I got the medium hot and it was a good level of spice for me. Service was quick. The Wynwood location has seating, but it's pretty limited and crowded at times, so don't count on being able to get a table.
