Went out to Dave's Hot Chicken last night for our date night. It just opened recently and we were excited to try something new in town. We were not disappointed. It was a decent wait to order, they are crazy busy right now but it was worth the wait. The food didn't take long once we ordered. We took it to go. We ordered a #1 two sliders mild and fries and a #4 1 slider medium with fries. The chicken has a dry seasoning on it which was a nice surprise most places if not all in the area do sauces. Can you give a review with negative stars? What a terrible restaurant in the Vestal, NY location. On line order, no exaggeration, an HOUR late before it was ready. Not even that crowded! Giving the wrong orders to people and then getting mad at people when they show up and their food was given away. Manager is rude and clearly terrible at her job. Clearly something has changed drastically since the earlier reviews. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

This was a total bummer. I had heard really good things about this place and was really excited to try it. I ordered the slider and tender meal with fries. I ordered light-mild. It was probably my fault in assuming I could handle the light mild. It was still too hot to eat. OK, my bad it's not their fault that I ordered wrong, but the bite that I did take was pure seasoning. My husband got the bites, which actually seemed less spicy than the tender, so I tried that. Two bites in and that was a mistake as well. OK well... read more

The chicken was very good but it was pretty frustrating to sit there for 32 minutes while orders places after mine were served. Then the employee didn't acknowledge the long wait.. not how I wanted the experience to go.

10/10 don't recommend chicken it self was okay but seasoning taste like taco seasoning and chili powder along with the fries nothing special taco seasoning and chili powder i had the medium and hot chicken bites w fries best thing out of the meal was the pink lemonade from the drink machine and i felt the need to write a review because it gave me heartburn all day

food made me and my wife sick and the food is nasty didn't taste right at all under seasoned and wasn't cooked all the way through
