Food was great! I really liked the chicken. The person who was walking around the dining tables, Ryan, was really nice. Hope too have him as a server next time! Was a delight.

I was super excited to find out this had opened up in CT, I've heard many people rave about it from other areas. I visited on their 2nd day of being officially opened & grabbed it to go, as it was just too busy for me at that time. The staff did their best to be friendly & provided good service overall. Dave's Hot Chicken finally came to Connecticut so you know had to check them out. My son and I were spending time together so we decided to grab something to eat while we were out. Today was Dave's Hot Chicken grand opening and the parking lot was packed. As we pulled up to the establishment, we saw that line was long but we still went in. Ordered at 8:20pm in store at the kiosk and received the food nearly an hour later. I asked the woman waiting in front of the counter what time she ordered and she showed me her receipt.. 7:59pm! & She still hadn't received her order. The cashier and cooks are barely putting in any effort. You can come in here and watch them. There's no urgency like at McDonald's and Burger King. Painfully slow service, and they still couldn't get the order right. Food came out cold and tasted like barely seasoned chicken. I mean no heat, no flavor. On top of that, the ambience was off: cramped, loud, and felt unorganized rather than energetic. This location is far below the standard of other Dave's Hot Chicken spots. Huge disappointment.

This is one of the worst experience I have at this place. I went to the restaurant at 11am and there is only 3 customers (2 in front my order). We were waiting approximately 20 minutes and all the orders came out at once. The chicken was not hot at all.

We went there and placed our order at 3. After waiting 20 minutes with our buzzer still not going off. I went up to the front and said I wanted a refund. Waited another 5 minutes for a "manager" to come out and say oh you know we're really busy. I said I don't care. Our buzzers went off as we were standing there and the 2 burnout expeditors tried to blame us for not getting our food. My cousin took his but his daughter felt ill almost immediately. Waited 30+ minutes for 2 chicken tenders and fries. Watched countless people walk in after me and get my food before me.
