Had to wait for the grand opening to die down before we were able to try this establishment ordered the medium hot and the reaper flavoring as well as mac & cheese and a Oreo milkshake. The reaper does get you. There's a reason there's a waiver, but I had a great flavor. The hot was definitely manageable. Could eat the hot any day of the week. Fries were pretty good but not worth the hype everyone put on it. The line and wait was not too bad but you will wait even if there is no one barely there. It is not an actual sauce on the chicken more like a powder seasoning. I wasn't a fan but may try again when they aren't so new to the area

I've tried Dave's before in the Virginia area and wasn't impressed. I decided to give it another try. I was on my way out of Columbus, Ga with family and we stopped for a bite. I live in Columbus. It's fairly not new new anymore but as soon as the doors opened I was the fifth person in line. Upon entering the ambiance is nice and inviting. Tables were neat and clean as expected again they JUST opened. I got #4 but the cauliflower sandwich and I ordered the chicken bites just to say I had the chicken. Great chicken. Very busy, the staff handled themselves quite well, especially on a Friday night. Tried the Carolina Reaper tender, it's not for the weak. It is not to be taken lightly.

My husband has eaten at a Dave's Hot Chicken in California but this was my first time. They were having some technical difficulties so the wait was long. That being said the staff gave updates and were extremely kind and professional. I have the slider in medium and it was great! The kale slaw and pickles made it perfect! Their fries were hot, well seasoned and fresh. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I will be back!

Really tasty chicken. Very simple menu which helps the line move pretty quick Don't be a punk. Get the reaper.

I gave in! Dave's Hot Chicken!! I got extra hot and hot There wasn't much of a flavor to the chicken it just tasted hot (I'd rate 7/10) Once I put the sauce and honey like the employee suggested, it tasted better; increasing it to an 8/10. My husband got lite mild and mild. He said the lite mild didn't have that much flavor but with the sauce it was good giving them a 7.5/10. Ridiculously overpriced and extremely slow. They prioritize online orders so if you order at the counter, you're waiting for 30 minutes when it's not even busy. The dining area was full but no one had food. It's a simple fast food establishment and they expect you to tip the counter person typing in your order. Never going back. It was clean and the woman that took our order was nice. That's the only reason they got two stars.
