I came across this place online and was excited to check it out, especially since it's a Los Angeles-based company--everyone knows LA has some amazing food. Had Dave's hot chicken in Concord Ca and it was good, spicy and very edible. Not so with the sparks location. Ordered 2 piece slider mild and got 2 piece slider that was so hot it was almost inedible. Tried the fry's to put the fire out but they were doused in some sort of powder which tasted as hot as the chicken. I like hot food but this was unacceptable. Good, quick service. Chicken was good, but felt like i had bits of just breading. Fries were a bit soggy in my opinion. Mac and cheese was good. Id be back if driving by but i feel it doesnt outdo some of the other fastfood chicken spots in the area.

Came back to try the top loaded fries and it did not disappoint! Prob my fav item on the menu now! Fries topped w kale slaw, cheese and Dave's bites. It's an all in deal. Wasn't too busy around 6pm on a Friday, but it did take a while for the food. Possibly due to a ton of pickups and DoorDash orders. They were also out of CO2 for fountain drinks so had to get bottled drinks and cups for ice. No big deal. Service was still great and music still loud. Def go try the top loaded fries. Great deal and tastes great!

I thought Dave's chicken was just like any other chicken place, but I couldn't have been more wrong. This is the most flavorful, juicy chicken I've had and they completed nailed the spicy chicken sandwich. The cheese fries were incredible, and I don't usually like crinkle cut fries, but these were great! It was very busy but they got through the line really fast. I will definitely be back!
