Very tasty chicken slider (spiced medium) that comes with an excellent slaw, special sauce and pickles...producing a very satisfying crunch! Seasoned fries rounded out the meal (total $10). Very friendly counter help. We will definitely be back?
Went to Dave's Hot Chicken. Loved the experience. It is decorated to celebrate Irondequoit, and Rochester which I thought was super cool. The employees were very nice, they introduced themselves to us at the counter, asked us if we had been there before. When we said no, they took their time to explain their menu. It was so refreshing to see service with a smile on E. Ridge Rd. Where the employees and managers usually seem angry, with an attitude. I hope this doesn't happen to Dave's Hot Chicken. First time I went during grand opening was fantastic. Long lines were worth the wait. Happy employees and great chicken. Second time I went was several weeks later - it's just a regular crappy fried chicken restaurant experience. I don't think the employees even said 5 words to me, certainly was not greeted. I found the French fries and the chicken sandwich extremely salty. The staff in front is inattentive to orders coming out. As I waited for my take out order, I could see the girl preparing it. She was talking on her CELLPHONE while holding it in her gloved left hand while filling my order with her right hand. I will NOT be going back ever!!!!

Horrible. Ordered 2 mild tender baskets with fries and 1 medium slider and tender basket. Mild was inedible. Medium was less spicy. Asked for them to correct it or if that is what mild was..please give us no spice. They gave us back even hotter tenders. Horrible. Nice girl gave us free Mac n cheese..bc she probably knew that we wouldn't be able to even eat the chicken. Disgusting. Don't waste your money. They had an opportunity to correct it. They didn't..a 1 star is generous.

I had heard the hype and saw lots of folks online raving about Dave's hot chicken.. I saw this new location and thought I would try.. The staff made me experience not so good- When I walked in it took a couple of minutes to get the attention of the cashier who was talking to group of staff behind the counter ( there appeared to be more staff than customers).
