I finally stopped by Dave's Hot Chicken to see what all the hype was about. After hearing so much buzz, I went in with pretty high expectations. Overall, I'd say it was good--but not quite as memorable as I expected. The chicken was juicy, tender, and cooked well. The sauces added some nice flavor, and I can see why people enjoy mixing and matching them with the sandwiches and tenders. The standout item for me, though, was the fries. Picked up dinner from here for the first time and thought it was excellent. I got the two strips medium heat and fries. The medium heat is not as hot as Houston's but I thought the flavor profile was better. The fries were way better with a nice crispness that most fries lack. The food for me is 5 stars but dining in area is lacking.

First time trying Dave's Hot Chicken and I can see why so many people recommend it. The chicken was super crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. Everything tasted fresh, and the spice level was perfect. The staff was friendly, the food came out fast, and the restaurant was clean. Overall, it was a great first experience and I'll definitely be back. My eldest son loves Dave's. He wanted it for Lucnh. We got top loaded fries. 5 piece mozz meal and chicken slider. My kids loved it. I ate a large mozz stick and some fries. Dave's sauce is good and tasty. Not to sweet. We did an app order. I sent my kids inside to retrieve the food. They said the worker was nice and restaurant was clean and tidy. No complaints at all. Thank you Dave's!

Fast food chicken spot. You can order at kiosk or with the cashier. They have tenders, sliders kale slaw, fries and shakes. We tried the sliders and tenders and thought they were okay overall. The food was ready pretty quickly. But note that there is no table service and you need to pick up your order yourself. They also have different sauces for the food but they are an extra charge, $1.49 each. The inside feels like a typical fast food place, simple and casual, nothing fancy!

My husband brought me Dave's hot chicken sandwich to go for dinner. It didn't look spicy at first but I definitely felt the heartburn till the next day. I also had the run for two days straight so be ware of it guys. Only eat it if your off the next day. I wouldn't say it's an must return restaurant. It was just spicy and that was it. It wasn't savory spicy good enough for me to return as a customer.

What stood out was the customer service. Clay greeted me quickly and took my order promptly. He's very professional for being so young. The wait was a little bit longer than usual for today and he offered me a water cup for my wait. I was very grateful. My order was ready in 6 minutes so there really was no wait but the dining area was full so I did not expect to be helped so quickly. The food was delicious needless to say.
