This was my first time visiting Dave's Hot Chicken, and unfortunately, it wasn't a great experience. When I walked in, there was no line and an employee was standing at the front counter and no one mentioned that the self-order kiosk was unreliable. After spending time placing my order, I received an error message. When I went to the counter, the employee simply said the kiosk "sometimes works and sometimes doesn't." Got our order in a half hour before they close. Then at 11pm they tell us very rudely that we have to leave because they close at 11pm and they can't have anyone inside the restaurant. I've never heard of anything like that before in the service industry. Whether it's true or not it was very disappointing because we just wanted to enjoy the rest of our food but being rude on top of that makes me want to tell everyone not to go here. I'm not sure what the hype is over this place is. I love spice but the chicken was very smokey and paprika heavy. I couldn't taste any spice and the chicken was soggy. We ate at the location, so the chicken shouldn't have been soggy. The Dave's sauce tastes like ketchup and mayo mixed together. The best thing was the fries, which were crinkle cut. Overall, we wasted $90 on mediocre chicken. Wing stop is better in my opinion.

Tried this new place as we have never been there before. First wait like 20-25 minutes for the food. Fine, it is what it is. Got it take home. Opened it up and two ranches had opened in the bag. Inspecting them and it appears they were opened-pulled back. No rips or tears in the ranch cups. Then to top it off the chicken was cold and bitting into it, the chicken was under cooked. Too bad-had high hopes and from service, to sauces everywhere in the bag and uncooked food I will not be back. Massively disappointed!!

Ordered delivery. When received I was charged for fried pickles but didn't receive it and I ordered Dave's spicy boneless chicken wings, and received a tray with some sort of sludge from a container that needs cleaned. It was inedible. I included a pic. Gross. Never again! The only reason its one star is you dont have negative stars.

I went to Dave's Hot Chicken on the evening of May 4 around 9 PM and honestly the experience was really disappointing. The two guys and one girl working that night were extremely rude from the start. I ordered the chicken nuggets which are supposed to come with bread, pickles, and sauce, but none of that was in my bag. When I went back inside to ask about it, they kept arguing with me saying it doesn't come with it even after I showed them on the app that it does. I placed an order at this location on accident. i live 22 hours away and have been calling this location for 20 minutes at the least. they don't answer their calls at all and for people who don't want to drive 20 hours to get a refund what the fuck are we supposed to do? 0/10 never ordering from dave's hot chicken again. this was my first time trying it too.

Make sure to check your bag for all the food/sauces. Asked for extra sauce and they gave us a total of zero sauces instead. Thanks for that kids.

All your photos show drizzled cheese when in fact it is a cheese slice. I could add my own slice of cheese for far less than .59 cents! Will I go back.l? No to many other great chicken establishments out there.
